Hugs, handshakes and refreshments were just part of the welcome back for all Rocky Point School District faculty, staff, security and administrators on Sept. 3. After a welcome by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Scott O’Brien, District employees broke out into groups for building meetings, fire safety protocols, mandated trainings and classroom set up to ready for the 2024-2025 school year that begins for students on Sept. 4.

Dr. O’Brien ended his Superintendent’s Conference Day remarks by encouraging all faculty and staff members to continue to inspire today’s students for the next 50 years.
